Assistant Vice President - Finance - CA (10-12 yrs)

Job Title: AVP/VP Finance.

Location: Mumbai (Work from Office).

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts and Finance Management:

- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial records in compliance with applicable laws.

- Manage monthly book closures and standalone financial statements.

- Oversee revenue recognition, billing, vendor payments, and payroll processing.

- Drive automation, transformation, and audit closures (Statutory, Internal, Transfer Pricing, and Tax Audits).

MIS and Reporting:

- Develop and present monthly financial performance analysis to management.

- Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring expenses align with agreed targets.

Compliance and Risk:

- Ensure GST, tax, payroll, and secretarial compliance.

- Liaise with regulators like RBI and ROC for inspections, audits, and reporting.

Investor and Banking Relations:

- Collaborate with investors for reporting and due diligence processes.

- Manage funding requirements and maintain strong relationships with bankers.

Strategic Decision-Making:

- Advise senior leadership on financial impact, legal implications, and associated risks of strategic decisions.

- Propose and implement risk management strategies.

Legal Oversight:

- Work with external consultants to draft, vet, and negotiate agreements and contracts.

Who We're Looking For?

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.

Experience:

- Minimum 10 years in a hardcore finance role, with expertise in compliance, audits, and financial strategy.

Industry Exposure:

- Experience in start-ups or fintech is highly desirable.

- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
