Shift Engineer

Arrange the spares and necessary materials as early as possible .If not available make PR for the same

Check all the staff whether they are attending their routine work and guest complaints in time

Take round whenever staff are working and in case work is not completed note down in the log book and carry out the work in the next shift

Check whether the log book maintained by staff are up to date

Follow up with purchase Department about pending or urgent requirement and see that they received in time

Take a round of Kitchen laundry and enquire with housekeeping about urgent pending work and take immediate action

Save Energy consumption by putting off equipment whenever possible

Check the cold storage and walk in cooler and maintain the temperature and carry out defrosting in every shift, for deep freezer and maintain the temperature below 18

Check the boiler to see the operation is running smoothly and carry out blow down and add chemical in time

Water analysis to be carried out as instructions are given to the plumber and maintain the tap water hardness below 40 and 0.2 PPM in the tank water

Shift Engineering on night duty should personally visit the swimming pool to see whether section sweeping is carried out properly and put off all equipment s whenever not necessary to save the energy consumption

Night duty shift engineer should have round in STP and see that operation is maintained as per instruction

Night duty shift engineer should return the completed work order every day to Housekeeping
