Job Title: General Manager of Sales General Staffing
Job Overview:
The General Manager of Sales (GM Sales) for General Staffing is responsible for driving the growth and revenue generation within the staffing sector for the assigned region. This role involves leading and executing strategic sales initiatives, acquiring new business, nurturing client relationships. The GM Sales will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand client requirements, propose customized solutions, and ensure the delivery of exceptional staffing services.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Acquisition:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base in the region.
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire key clients in line with the companys business goals.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover potential clients and areas of expansion.
Sales Strategy Implementation
- Implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Continuously assess and adapt strategies to ensure alignment with market demands and company objectives.
- Develop and lead innovative approaches to selling staffing solutions.
Client Relationship Management:
- Conduct periodic follow-up meetings and client visits to strengthen relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and generate additional revenue.
- Understand clients evolving staffing needs and work to deepen relationships to increase share of business.
- Proactively address client issues and concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Portfolio Management and Growth:
- Ensure the effective management of client portfolios, balancing current revenue streams while exploring new opportunities for growth.
- Strategically position the companys staffing services, offering tailored solutions to clients at optimal pricing.
- Consistently identify opportunities to expand usage of services within existing client accounts.
Solution Development:
- Collaborate with the operations team to understand client requirements and develop customized staffing solutions.
- Conduct regular client surveys and feedback sessions to ensure solutions align with client needs.
- Innovate and adjust solutions based on market trends, business requirements, and client expectations.
Performance Monitoring:
- Provide suggestions and strategies for performance improvements through cross-functional coordination with other departments.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
Market Awareness and Forecasting:
- Stay informed about market trends, global staffing industry developments, and external factors impacting business growth.
- Forecast sales trends, market demands, and client requirements to maintain a competitive
edge.
- Continuously adapt the sales strategy to stay ahead of market changes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of business development and sales experience in the General Staffing industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the staffing industry, client needs, and trends.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships and work with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to implement strategic sales initiatives and adapt to market conditions.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated success in driving growth, increasing revenue, and optimizing client relationships.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Masters preferred).
