Description :

As a Data Engineer at Kapiva, you will assist in building and maintaining scalable data systems and pipelines to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataprep, you will contribute to ensuring data quality, scalability, and performance while collaborating with teams to meet Kapiva's data needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Pipeline Development (Google Cloud Focus) :

- Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataprep.

- Support ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into analytics-ready formats.

Data Management and Optimization :

- Work on organizing and structuring data for efficient storage and retrieval.

- Participate in optimizing data workflows for performance and cost-effectiveness.

Data Quality and Governance :

- Contribute to implementing processes for data validation and quality assurance.

- Support monitoring of data pipelines to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Cross-functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with data analysts, scientists, and other teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

- Assist in creating dashboards and reports that enable actionable business insights.

Learning and Documentation :

- Keep documentation of processes and pipelines up to date.

- Learn about emerging technologies and best practices to grow in the role.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

- 1 to 3 years of experience in data engineering or a related field (internships or academic projects are valued).

- Familiarity with Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage (experience preferred but not mandatory).

- Proficiency in at least one programming language like Python or Java.

- Basic understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
