About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Professional with expertise in US accounting, taxation, and compliance to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit coordination, ensuring that all financial data aligns with US GAAP standards. This role requires direct reporting to the CEO, demanding a high level of professionalism, accountability, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare and generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure accurate financial data consolidation and maintain compliance with US GAAP.
Utilize tools like MS Excel (advanced proficiency) for financial modeling and data analysis.
Provide insights and actionable recommendations to optimize financial performance.

Audit & Compliance:

Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for financial audits.
Ensure audit readiness of all financial records and documents in line with US standards.
Assist in internal controls, risk assessments, and process improvements to enhance financial operations.

US Taxation & Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with US federal and state tax laws, including corporate taxation and indirect taxes.
Work with tax consultants to prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with IRS regulations.
Monitor and implement changes in US taxation laws and financial compliance requirements.

General Accounting & Reconciliation:

Maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Perform bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and financial reconciliations accurately and on time.
Ensure adherence to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements and other US accounting regulations.

Financial Strategy & Business Support:

Provide financial insights to the CEO and management to support strategic decision-making.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations.Mandatory Skills:

Proficiency in Tools & Software:

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, etc.) and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
Familiarity with dashboarding tools like Tableau or Power BI (preferred but not mandatory).✔ Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
Experience with US federal and state tax laws and corporate tax preparation.✔ Communication

Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English to interact effectively with the CEO, auditors, and other stakeholders.
Ability to create professional financial presentations and dashboards for leadership review.✔

Analytical Skills:

Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
Capability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.Key Requirements:

Educational Qualification: CA, CPA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent degree in finance/accounting.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years in US accounting, taxation, and audit support.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, taxation laws, and compliance.

Software Expertise: Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or other US-based accounting software.

Strong Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights effectively.

Work Mode: Must be willing to work from the Hyderabad office

Preferred Skills:

➕ Knowledge of corporate tax planning and international financial regulations.
➕ Proficiency in visual reporting using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
