Sr or Lead Test Engineer - Power Bi and ETL

Role & responsibilities

1. Data Validation and Verification:
• Ensure data accuracy by validating data sources, data models, and data transformations.
• Verify that data is correctly loaded and transformed according to business rules.

2.Report Testing:

• Test the functionality and accuracy of Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Validate that visualizations correctly represent the underlying data and meet user requirements

4. Experience in ETL Testing, Manual Testing and DB Testing.

3. Documentation:

• Document test cases, test plans, and test results.
• Maintain detailed records of testing activities and outcomes.

Skill Set :

1. Experience in onshore/remote model with strong QA methodology and good communication.
2. Proven knowledge and adherence to Quality Assurance best practices.
3. Hands on with ETL testing and Sql queries
4. Experience in Power BI and any reporting tools
5. Experience in Automation (design and developing scripts) along with strong Testing skills
6. Experience with RPA tools is nice to have.
7. Proven understanding of database testing with excellent SQL skills
8. Positive attitude and team player
9. High level of integrity and strict adherence to protecting confidential information
10. Have minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and SDLC.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

Experience : 4 to 7yrs
