01-HHP sales Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Representative to drive sales of high-horsepower diesel generators/ Capital Equipment in the Pune region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of DG sets / Capital Equipment , customer acquisition, and industrial sales processes, along with a proven ability to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote high-horsepower DG sets to target industries.

- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and customer needs.

2. Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in sectors such as manufacturing, construction, IT parks, and commercial facilities.

- Identify and engage potential clients, present product offerings, and convert leads into sales.

3. Technical Consultation:

- Provide technical guidance and product knowledge to customers.

- Work with engineering teams to offer customized DG solutions based on client requirements.

4. Sales Targets and Reporting:

- Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the Pune region.

- Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports.

5. Market and Competitor Analysis:

- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

- Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams for product improvement.

Key Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Business Administration preferred.

- Proven sales experience in high-horsepower DG sets or related industrial equipment.

- Strong understanding of diesel generator operations, applications, and market trends.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

- Fluent in English and Marathi; knowledge of Hindi is an advantage.

- Willingness to travel within the Pune region and nearby areas.
