Information Security Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure the protection of sensitive information through encryption, access controls, and other security measures by working with third parties to coordinate penetration scans, making sure resources are trained on secure coding processes, etc.
• Design, implement, and maintain the organization's information security framework and policies.
• Lead the implementation of security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
• configuring access, installation, and management of a mobile device management platform for laptops, implementation of virus scanning software.
• Monitor and manage security incidents, investigate security breaches, and lead incident response efforts.
• Develop documented procedures that must be adhered, onboarding and offboarding resources.
• Manage the organization's security awareness training programs for staff.
• Identify and assess potential security risks to information assets, systems, and networks.
• Implement risk management frameworks and ensure that security risks are mitigated in accordance with organizational policies.
