Job Description Kaizen Institute South Asia
Job title: Senior Consultant
Location: Remote (Delhi based)
Terms: Professional Consultant
Compensation:
To be mutually agreed based on KI compensation structure
Requirements:
More than 20-25 years experience in Lean/ Operational Excellence.
Willing to travel anywhere within India, Africa or to Southeast Asia for
15 to 20 days a month for client deliveries.

Ghana, Liberia, Côte D'Ivoire and Sierra Leone.
About the role:
1. Prepare self for implementation of Kaizen Business Model by learning
with the help of Kaizen Institutes consulting resource (Intellectual
property of KI) and by shadowing senior members on the Gemba.
2. Implement Kaizen Change Model at client Gemba and help client in
achieving competitive advantage in its industry.
3. Help clients to improve business performance through sustainable
implementation.
4. Implement Daily Kaizen pillar to build problem solving culture in the client organization.
5. Bring in the promised change through Value Stream Kaizen’ pillar and deliver agreed results as per the contract.
6. Contribute to achieving Circle goals and KPI’s – that consist of
growth, service delivery, Circle meeting attendance and members’
competency development
7. One of the important KPI is acquiring new contracts by generating
leads & closing the deal
8. Marketing Support – Developing & archiving material such as case studies, videos & pictures
Competence:
The consultant should possess (or willing to acquire)
1. Requisite knowledge of Kaizen Business System.
2. Ability to communicate in English with seniors and juniors at the
clients’ place.
3. Ability to train the client’s employees on Kaizen Tools and help them in grooming to be trainers for future.
4. Possess Leadership qualities and use it in implementation suitably
5. Self-Learner - with ability to unlearn old and learn various new
concepts.
6. Ability to carry out thorough analysis and resolve problems using
appropriate techniques to identify and resolve root causes
