Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and architectures to support our growing data and analytics needs. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure efficient data flow, storage, and processing.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines for efficient data integration, transformation, and storage.

- Implement and migrate ETL workflows across various platforms such as SQL Server, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, and SSIS.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to architect scalable and high-performance data solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance the performance of data pipelines and databases to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.

- Maintain data quality, integrity, and governance standards while continuously optimizing data workflows for efficiency.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with hands-on expertise in building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines across multiple platforms.

- Proficiency in designing, building, and optimizing ETL pipelines using technologies like Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Synapse, Databricks, and SSIS.

- Expertise in SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and query optimization techniques.

- Strong knowledge of SSIS, including package creation, performance tuning, and migration of legacy SSIS workflows to modern platforms like ADF and Databricks.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing, cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks), and best practices for data governance and security.

- Familiarity with Databricks for data processing, analytics, and building machine learning models within the data pipeline.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with experience in agile and cross-functional teams.
