Sales Representative

We are looking to cultivate a team of Sales Executives who can plan and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory. The role requires tracking sales activities, recording customer interaction data, and reporting on sales outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Sales Focus:

• Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual agreed sales targets within company business terms for Pollie (Home Care) brands.
• Set and monitor sales targets for Distributors at a beat level.
• Monitor actual sales and implement mid-course corrections to reduce variance against expectations.
• Prepare sales projections for the distribution business.

Area & Business Planning:

• Identify potential towns and appoint distributors in line with the business strategy.
• Plan and allocate resources based on market potential.
• Formulate and execute secondary sales plans (area-wise, distributor-wise, brand-wise, SKU-wise).

Distribution Management:

• Ensure quality of market coverage through effective use of the distribution network.
• Develop and implement distribution plans across distributor territories.
• Ensure category availability, visibility, and freshness through proper stock rotation.

Reporting:

• Submit daily activity reports and ISR productivity reports on area performance.
• Provide updates on retail competitor activities.
• Assist in proper placement of POSM materials at all outlets.

Education and Experience:

• Graduation in any stream is mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in FMCG sales.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Self-starter, motivated to drive sales in the territory.
• Strong knowledge of brands, pricing, margins, and activities of both own products and competition.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel extensively in urban and rural areas.
