Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled PHP Programmer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in PHP, MySQL/MongoDB, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a strong understanding of backend and frontend development. You will be responsible for building and maintaining dynamic web applications, ensuring seamless user experience, and optimising performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Work with CodeIgniter, Laravel, or other PHP frameworks
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain and enhance existing web applications.
• Participate in code reviews, best practices, and technical discussions.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in PHP and CodeIgniter (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Expert at in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Good with AJAX, RESTful APIs, and JSON.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Experience with third-party integrations and API development.
• Basic knowledge of Linux server environments is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with building custom-made CMS platforms, and others like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
• Familiarity with Cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines would be awesome.
• Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular).
