Video Editor

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor who is passionate about visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will have expertise in video editing, a strong understanding of storytelling techniques, and the ability to collaborate with our creative team to produce compelling video content. The Video Editor will work on projects ranging from marketing videos to social media content, and will be responsible for editing raw footage, enhancing audio, and delivering polished final products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality content that aligns with the projects objectives.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and content creators to understand the vision for each project.
• Implement creative video editing techniques, transitions, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
• Sync audio with video, adjust sound levels, and correct audio quality as necessary.
• Ensure all video projects meet deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
• Review and revise video content based on feedback and make necessary edits.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously and maintain organized video files.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in video editing.
• Assist in creating promotional videos, social media content, tutorials, and other video assets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and color grading techniques.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through video.
• Familiarity with sound editing and mixing is a plus.
• Experience with YouTube, social media platforms, and various video formats is a plus.
