Video Editor - Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage provided by the company and transform it into engaging content for Instagram.
• Ensure videos are optimised for Instagrams format and audience preferences (Reels, Stories, IGTV).
• Add creative elements such as transitions, effects, captions, and music to enhance video appeal.
• Maintain brand consistency in all video content.
• Stay updated with Instagram trends and incorporate them into video editing to maximise engagement.
• Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and deliver videos within deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing Instagram-specific content (Reels, Stories, etc.).
• Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Instagram video specifications, formats, and trends.
• Creativity and attention to detail to produce visually appealing content.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of basic color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with social media marketing strategies.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) for video thumbnails and posts.
