Project Assistant (Digital Content and outreach coordinator) Applications open till: Job Description

Qualification:

Bachelor s or Master s Degree (Preferrable) in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Digital Media or a related field.
Relevant certifications in Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, or social media management (Highly Preferred).
Proficiency in AI-based Creative Tools to generate innovative designs, illustrations, and engaging narratives (Highly Preferred)

Required Experience:

Minimum 1 year (Masters) and 2 year of experience (Bachelors) in content creation, graphic design, or digital marketing, with a focus on creating promotional materials and managing social media campaigns.
Experience in Website and Social Media Management, ensuring engaging content and consistent online presence.
Familiarity with developing content related to sustainability, environmental initiatives, or nonprofit sectors is highly desirable.

Content Creation and Design: Develop engaging illustrations, videos, infographics, and promotional materials (such as brochures and pamphlets) for CASCADE s programs and projects. Produce content for CASCADE s annual report and support the KIAAR team s newsletter, enhancing storytelling, marketing efforts, and sponsorship campaigns.
Digital and Social Media Management: Manage and update CASCADEs website and social media platforms, working closely with the PR team to ensure an accurate, engaging, and consistent online presence.
Sustainability Promotional Materials and Outreach Support: Collaborate with the Sustainable Track Assessment Tracking team within University to create and update content for the sustainability microsite and related social media handles for Somaiya Vidyavihar University, coordinating with IT and PR teams to support outreach and engagement efforts.

Key Skills

Video making and editing with scripts.
Excellent Communication and Storytelling/Interpreting Skills of complex content into high-quality visual content.
Attention to Detail using a metriculous approach to content editing, ensuring brand consistency, accuracy, and alignment with CASCADE s messaging and objectives.
Strong Organizational Skills: Capability to manage multiple content creation projects simultaneously, coordinate with various teams, and meet deadlines consistently.
Enthusiasm to learn science and do research for concept understanding and representation.
