Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager at The Build Mart will play a pivotal role in driving sales, building customer relationships, and expanding our product portfolio. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively engage with corporate clients, walk-in customers, project managers, builders, architects, interior designers, and individual homeowners. The ideal candidate should have strong sales acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with vendors to enhance our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer & Sales Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, builders, architects, interior designers, and retail customers.
• Set and achieve sales targets while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
• Attend to customer complaints and resolve them promptly and professionally.
• Conduct market research to understand customer preferences and trends.

Product & Vendor Management:

• Identify and introduce new companies and products to our portfolio based on market demands.
• Liaise with vendors to negotiate pricing, product availability, and key business matters.
• Ensure timely procurement of products and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Business Development & Marketing:

• Develop marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive footfall to the store.
• Organize and participate in events, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create customer-centric campaigns.

Requirements:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably in the building materials or retail industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
