Job Description

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is very active in the key areas of design, manufacturing, robotics, thermal engineering, solid propellant combustion modelling with significant research programs and facilities. The department runs three undergraduate programs (B.Tech.) in Mechanical, Mechatronics and Aerospace Engineering; three postgraduate (M.Tech.) programs in Robotics, Computational Mechanics and Systems Engineering along with Ph.D. program.

About the Research Grant:

Very Recently, the department has received a research grant from Ministry of D fense to conduct the cutting-edge research in the area of heterogeneous solid propellant combustion modelling . The research will be jointly carried out with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. The duration of the research grant is for three years and likely to be extended further. The department is seeking applications from eligible candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for carrying out research under this research grant. The candidates will be selected based on personal interview.
