Job Description

• Timely submission of insurance data and approvals Corporate Insurance team for renewal/ new policies of BPSL - Odisha, Kolkata & Chandigarh locations.

• All support and guidance for employee welfare policies viz  Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident,  Group Term Life Insurance,  Associate employees GMC policy, Contractors GMC & GPA policies,  Top up policy,  Retiree Health Insurance etc. 

• Claims Management of BPSL Odisha, Kolkata and Chandigarh locations. Handling all types of insurance claims related to Fire, Machinery Breakdown, Fire Loss of Profit falling under Mega Risk policy, Industrial All Risk Policy, Fire policy and Domestic & Export Marine policy.

• Maintaining MIS for operational policy, project policy and insurance claims etc. 

• Risk assessment on annual basis and to ensure that risk inspection is conducted at least 90 days prior to renewal of Mega / IAR policies of JSW BPSL Orissa, Kolkata & Chandigarh operational assets.
• To conduct awareness programs through insurance companies to plant officials on various insurance policy coverage, exclusions etc.

• Compliance of insurance audit queries by Internal & Statutory auditors.
