BAR Mill - Mech Maintenance - AGM/DGM - JSW Steel Ltd

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure inspection, repair, and servicing of critical equipment such as rolling stands, gearboxes, shears, motors, drives, and cooling systems.
• Focus on reducing breakdowns and improving plant uptime.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and systems.
• Plan and execute modernization projects to improve performance and efficiency.'

• Use tools like Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

Preferred candidate profile

In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Proficiency in PLC systems, drives, and automation systems.

Ability to analyze failures and implement effective solutions.

Experience in managing large teams and coordinating between departments.

Will act as a strategic leader responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of the plants equipment, contributing to higher productivity, reduced downtime, and lower operational costs.
