Job Summary

The person will manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationship activities to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services at optimal costs while maintaining quality standards. This role requires strong negotiation skills, market analysis capabilities, and a deep understanding of procurement processes and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sourcing:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
2. Supplier Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliability and quality.
• Evaluate supplier performance through KPIs and conduct regular reviews.
3. Cost Management:
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and drive procurement efficiency.
4. Contract Management:
• Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Address contractual disputes and enforce terms effectively.
5. Procurement Operations:
• Oversee purchase order (PO) issuance, delivery schedules, and goods receipt processes.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain procurement records.
6. Technology and Analytics:
• Utilize eProcurement platforms and tools for sourcing and procurement activities.
• Analyze procurement data to track spend, identify trends, and inform decision-making.

Key Qualifications and Skills

1. Education:
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering + NICMAR (Optional)
• Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP).
2. Experience:
• 15- 20 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Industry-specific experience preferred (e.g., Industrial Parks).
3. Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba/ Coupa/Oracle).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
4. Core Competencies:
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
