Senior Medical Writer

Essential Functions

• Handle at least 3 projects in a month
• Act as a single point of contact for clients for own, junior medical writers or medical writers projects, when required
• Attend meetings with clients
• Deliver high-quality project deliverables within timelines
• Incorporate internal and client comments on project deliverables
• Actively interact with other departments during development of project deliverables
• Review the project deliverables of medical writers/junior medical writers and ensure high quality deliverables
• Mentor medical writers/junior medical writers in their project deliverables
• Provide constructive feedback to medical writers/junior medical writers and ensure that its implemented
• Identify improvement areas and provide relevant training to medical writers and junior medical writers
• Adhere to applicable SOPs while working on projects
• Actively participate in all internal and external trainings
• Actively involved in annual SOP updates

• Understands and satisfies client needs
• Organizational skills

Experience and Education:

• At least 5 years of experience in Phase II-IV protocols and CSRs is required.
• PhD (+5 years of experience) or masters degree in Life Sciences/Health Related Sciences or equivalent (+7 years of experience)
