Job Description
Developer
What you will do
This position will focus on new feature/component development as well as maintenance and stewardship of existing system software. This position requires the ability to work under minimal direction in collaboration with a team of engineers to design and develop robust system solutions that meet defined system requirements.
How you will do it
Plans work and implements utilizing standard engineering and technology principles and established company processes and procedures to complete assignments per established project deadlines.
Uses good software development and engineering judgment in making adaptations or modifications.
Provides work estimates; plans and controls development work to meet established objectives for project/system quality, reliability and performance.
Analyzes the impact of changes on existing information products or systems and proposes solutions to minimize project/system risk.
Analyzes and resolves problems and provides technical assistance as necessary.
Provides technical feedback, input and consultation to other developers involved in system design or implementation activities as appropriate.
Participates in knowledge/technology transfer initiatives as requested.
May prepare and/or review product documentation, written instructions or technical literature for accuracy and completeness.
Performs thorough unit testing of all implementation changes; performs integration testing as appropriate to ensure robust, high-quality implementation prior to delivery to System Test.
Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems

Adhere to JCI policies, guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of information assets.

Adhere to JCI product security standards and guidelines for secured software product development.
The software, licenses, shall be deployed and used only in accordance with JCI licensing agreements.
Unless provided in the applicable license, notice, or agreement, copyrighted software shall not be duplicated, except for backup and archival purposes.
Any software that is acquired illegally or does not have a valid license shall not be deployed or used. Copying of third party materials without an appropriate license is prohibited.
The employees, contractors or third-party personnel shall not copy, extract or reproduce in any way, copyrighted material from the Internet on information systems provided by organization, other than permitted by copyright law.
Implement appropriate physical and technical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets.
All employees, contractors and third parties shall be responsible to report all information security incidents, alerts, warnings and suspected vulnerabilities, in a timely manner, and share such information only with authorized personnel.
What we look for
Required
BE/B.Tech /MCA - Computer
Must have 4+ years software development experience on web based applications
Solid analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Experience writing development-level documentation (detailed designs, defect write- up/analysis, solution analysis/proposals, test plans, test results, etc.)
Knowledge of refactoring techniques
Experience with code management, change tracking, and team collaboration tools (e.g. GitHub, JIRA, etc.)
Primarily should have expertise in Javascript, ReactJS, Typescript , HTML5, CSS3, Jquery, AngularJS ( 1.x)
Should have, however not must have understanding of C#, ASP.net MVC, ASP.net WebAPI (RestFul), SQL Server.
Preferred
Familiarity with Object Oriented web development
