Job Overview:
People Smart is seeking a motivated and results-driven Admission/Tele Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will assist students and parents in making informed decisions about academic and career options through phone-based counseling. You will provide detailed information on academic programs, admission processes, and scholarships, and play a key role in guiding students through their educational journey. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct telephonic counseling sessions with students and parents regarding academic programs, career paths, and the admission process.
- Provide guidance on course selection based on students' interests, goals, and qualifications.
- Explain admission procedures, eligibility criteria, program fees, and scholarship opportunities.
- Generate leads and engage prospective students through cold calling and follow-up outreach.
- Address student concerns and provide clear, timely solutions to queries.
- Maintain accurate records of all student interactions, inquiries, and counseling sessions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient student experience.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Prior experience in tele-counseling, academic counseling, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office and database management tools.
- Ability to work on-site and during standard working hours (Monday to Friday, [insert hours]).
