Job Description
- Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials, components, and services.
- Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to establish long-term partnerships while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for supplies and equipment, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as production and quality control, to align procurement activities with operational needs.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to maintain high-quality standards and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Resolve supply chain issues, including delays, quality discrepancies, or shortages, in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, including contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier communications.
- Analyze procurement data to prepare periodic reports on cost efficiency, supplier performance, and purchasing trends.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards in all purchasing activities.
