Role & responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Expansion:

• Develop and execute a strategic plan for the expansion of the educational institution, including identifying new campuses, partnerships, and expansion into new markets.
• Lead the growth strategy by analyzing trends in education, market opportunities, and competition, while ensuring alignment with the institutions vision and values.
• Establish long-term goals and objectives for the institution’s development and oversee their execution, including the opening of new campuses, program offerings, and geographic reach.

Operational Management:

• Provide leadership for the institution’s day-to-day operations, including managing academic programs, administrative functions, faculty and staff recruitment, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the development and implementation of effective educational programs and curricula.
• Maintain and improve operational efficiency, ensuring that the institution operates within its financial parameters while delivering high-quality education.

Financial Oversight:

• Ensure the financial sustainability of the institution by managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and identifying new revenue streams.
• Monitor financial performance and implement cost-effective strategies without compromising the quality of education.

Stakeholder Management:

• Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, board members, faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni, and the broader community.
• Serve as the primary spokesperson for the institution and represent it to external stakeholders, promoting its mission, vision, and values.
• Ensure the institution's engagement with accreditation bodies, regulators, and other relevant authorities.

Academic and Educational Excellence:

• Maintain a strong focus on academic excellence and ensure the delivery of a high-quality, student-centered learning environment.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in teaching, research, and student outcomes.
• Promote professional development for faculty and staff to ensure they are equipped to meet educational challenges.

Curriculum Development:

• Incorporate technology to enhance learning experiences using educational software, online resources, and digital tools. 
• Assessment designing skills to ensure each assessment directly measures the learning objectives. 
• Knowledge of content management systems to streamline the creation, management, and distribution of educational materials, enabling efficient and organized content updates etc.

Human Resources Leadership:

• Lead the recruitment, development, and retention of high-performing faculty and staff.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity within the institution.
• Implement and uphold policies and practices that promote a positive and productive organizational culture.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure the institution operates in compliance with local, regional, and national regulations, including accreditation requirements, educational standards, and labor laws.
• Develop and implement a robust risk management strategy to mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
