Video Editor with Camera Knowledge

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor with basic camera knowledge to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both video editing and operating cameras for capturing high-quality footage. You will be responsible for video editing, as well as assisting in the setup and operation of cameras during production.
Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing:
• Edit raw footage into polished video content for our platform (LMS)
• Add music, sound effects, graphics and visual effects to enhance video quality.
• Ensure the final product meets the project requirements and creative vision.
• Colour correct footage to ensure a consistent, professional look across all videos.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand the vision and ensure the final product aligns with objectives.
• Work with different file formats and video resolutions to ensure compatibility across multiple platforms.
• Post-Production Workflow:
• Organize and manage video files, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval for the editing process.
• Edit content with attention to pacing, continuity, and overall flow.
• Implement the editing process.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with strong technical expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Proficiency in video production workflows, including file management, rendering, and exporting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with visual effects (VFX) and basic motion graphics.
• Knowledge of audio editing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with other post-production tools, such as After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Experience working with different video formats and platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, etc.
