Log Collector Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Log Collector Specialist to lead the deployment, installation, and configuration of ArcSight for internal security logging, with a focus on exporting logs and integrating with Clients MxEDR platform. As part of the Cyber Defense Security Operations (CDSO) and the Account Security Officer (ASO) role, the candidate will oversee security log management, operational decision-making, and interface directly with stakeholders, including the customers Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This position is pivotal in ensuring efficient log collection, security operations, and seamless system integration.

• Plan, deploy, and configure ArcSight for comprehensive security log collection and monitoring.
• Establish log collection pipelines for internal systems, ensuring complete coverage of critical assets.
• Optimize ArcSight to enhance performance and scalability.

• Design and implement log export mechanisms to integrate ArcSight with Clients MxEDR platform.
• Oversee the collection, normalization, and analysis of security logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Serve as the Account Security Officer (ASO), making security-related decisions during operational activities.
• Lead incident response efforts based on insights from ArcSight and MxEDR integrations.

Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including system configurations, operational runbooks, and incident response plans.
