People Analyst (Fully WFH)

JHTS Offshore is searching for an experienced People Analyst to join the Human Resources team. The People Analyst will support a variety of HR system functionality, including a heavy reporting and analytical focus.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in related fields or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of relevant experience in data and/or business analytics
• 3+ years of broad, hands-on HR system experience including administration, business process configuration, security, custom reporting, BI reporting
• Experience working directly within UltiPro/UKG or Kronos
• Experience using Python, JSON, or similar programming tools
• Experience with Cognos and/or Power BI reporting, preferably within UKG/Kronos
• Eye for identifying opportunities to innovate and act on improvements
• Keen ability to balance prioritizing workload

Responsibilities:

• Conduct complex research/analyses and participate in meetings with subject matter experts to capture data needs and reporting requirements while noting gaps and inefficiencies
• Design advanced data queries, models, and dashboards based on customers' needs, which may require developing the right algorithm to extract/connect information from several different HR information systems
• Complete external audits and reporting for state, government, or other agencies
• Focus on analyzing and improving end-to-end technologies used within HR
• Use your expertise to develop new approaches within our compensation and talent functions, and overall solution architecture to improve current HR systems
• Collaboration across the HR team and other departments
• Create, maintain, and enhance reporting capabilities and analytical review of people related data
• Troubleshoot UKG system issues and collaborate with teams to come to a rapid resolution
• Partner with team members to help analyze downstream effects to improve processes
• Build & maintain system configuration tables
• Audit employee data
• Documenting standard operating procedures and employee data reporting specifications and data dictionary
• Develop reporting and launch UKG API calls
• Understand and compile compensation plan data including bonus, commission, merit, and equity dashboards and/or modeling
