Job Description:
- Accounts and Finance: Managing & leading the team of Finance & accounts and driving them towards the business goal of the company including Internal Control over Financial reporting, documenting, fixed assets management and complete working capital management.
- Managing statutory/internal Audits: Treasury Management Coordinating & liaisoning with the banks, Managing the liquidity,, Understanding the risk and return analysis of investment management.
- Managing payments: Direct and Indirect Tax Compliance Liaising with consultants/Auditors with respect to Bookkeeping, compliances/Statutory and Internal Audits.
- Ensure non payroll compliances under various statutory laws applicable.
- Managing Audits of under different statutes (GST/Sales Tax, Companies House).
- MIS & Analytics Involve in preparing MIS reports by analyzing the P &L, Balance sheet and various financial reports for the understanding of top management.
- Involve in gathering various information and analyzing the financial data for decision making.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant with 3-5 years of Industry Experience.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Should have good knowledge of MS office and tally.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Lead and manage the finance and accounting team, including setting performance goals, providing training, and conducting performance reviews.
- Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Manage the company's cash flow, including collections, disbursements, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage the company's treasury function, including bank relationships, cash management, and investment activities. Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate controls to mitigate financial risks.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze key financial metrics to track company performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders. Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with auditors and other external advisors.
Internal Controls:
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP, IFRS, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits to identify and address any control weaknesses.
Tax Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including income tax, sales tax, GST, and other applicable taxes.
- Manage the preparation and filing of all tax returns and other tax-related filings.
Advise management on tax planning and optimization strategies.
Fixed Assets Management:
- Manage the company's fixed assets, including tracking, depreciation, and disposal.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of fixed assets.
Working Capital Management:
- Monitor and manage working capital to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
- Optimize inventory levels and manage accounts receivable and payable effectively.
Statutory Audits & Compliances:
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
MIS & Analytics:
- Prepare and analyze management information reports (MIS) to provide insights into business performance.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress towards business goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience in managing a team and leading projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software (e.g., Tally).
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
