Research (Consumer/ Allied Sectors), Senior Associate/ VP

We have an opening in our team for a lead analyst for the mid-cap consumer stocks. This position will be based in Mumbai.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Initiate and cover 10-12 stocks in consumer / allied sectors.
• Develop CXO level relationship in corporates and drive corporate access including corporate roadshows and participation in Jefferies events.
• Develop institutional investor connect across domestic and international investors and secure investor votes in internal and external polls.
• Monitor industry trends and market movements to update on impactful events and assess their implications on the stocks under coverage.
• Perform detailed financial analysis and valuation of companies across various sectors using a variety of methodologies including DCF, relative valuation, and precedent transactions.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company earnings and financial performance.

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of experience in equity research, ideally covering consumer sector
• Self motivated person who can work independently
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise research reports.
• Educational qualification - MBA or CA
