Responsibilities:
As a Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the financial analysis and valuation of both public and private equity investments, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and leveraged buyouts (LBO).
Your responsibilities will encompass:
1. Financial and Valuation Modeling: You will prepare comprehensive and robust financial models to evaluate potential investments. This includes creating detailed valuation models that accurately reflect the financial standing and potential of public and private equity opportunities.
2. Industry and Company Research: Conducting thorough industry and company research is crucial. You will generate valuable insights, identify key trends, and uncover investment opportunities through in-depth analysis. This research will form the backbone of our investment strategies and decision-making processes.
3. Client Engagement: Effective communication and engagement with clients are essential. You will actively interact with clients on various deals and projects, understand their requirements, build relevant collaterals, and explain deliverables to different stakeholders. Your ability to convey complex financial information in an accessible manner will be vital.
4. Research Reports: You will be responsible for writing qualitative research reports on companies and industries. This includes thematic notes, company initiation notes, earnings notes, and event-based notes. Timely and insightful reports will help our clients make informed investment decisions.
5. Deal Pitch-Books and Analysis: Preparing deal pitch-books, conducting stock screenings based on both quantitative and qualitative metrics, performing credit analysis, and executing ad hoc industry studies are integral parts of your role. These activities will support our team in making strategic investment decisions and presenting compelling pitches to clients.
6. Support in Deal Execution: You will assist team leaders and associates in the execution of deals, manage ongoing client interactions, and contribute to related tasks. Your support will be crucial in ensuring the smooth progression and successful completion of projects.
Requirements:
Education: MBA/CA/CFA
Experience: 3-4 years in a relevant field
Skills:

- Analytical Thinking and Writing: You must be a highly analytical thinker with excellent writing skills to create detailed and insightful reports.
