3D Modelling and Design : Create and modify detailed 3D models of parts and assemblies. Develop accurate and functional designs for products or components based on project requirements.
Technical Drawings : Generate precise 2D technical drawings and documentation from 3D models. Ensure these drawings meet industry standards and are suitable for manufacturing.
Design Optimization : Analyse designs for performance and manufacturability. Optimize models for efficiency, cost, and quality, addressing any issues related to materials, tolerances, or assembly.
Simulation and Analysis : Utilize SolidWorks simulation tools to perform stress, thermal, and motion analyses. Validate designs under various conditions to ensure reliability and performance.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and manufacturers, to ensure designs meet project specifications and requirements.
Prototyping and Testing : Support the creation of prototypes and participate in testing to validate designs. Refine and iterate designs based on test results and feedback.
Documentation and Reporting : Prepare detailed documentation for design changes, project status, and design reviews. Maintain accurate records of design iterations and modifications.
Software Proficiency : Stay updated with the latest SolidWorks features and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues as they arise.
Project Management : Manage design projects from concept to completion, including time management, resource allocation, and adherence to project deadlines.
Compliance and Standards : Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
