Simelabs - Java Developer - Spring/Hibernate (4-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement Java applications using industry best practices.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.

- Integrate with various databases, such as Oracle and DB2.

- Work with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

- Collaborate with other developers, architects, and business analysts.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

- Adhere to coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications :

- At least 4 years of professional experience in Java development.

- Strong experience with the following technologies: Core Java: Java, SQL, JSP, Servlet, JDBC, RESTful Services, Web Services, XML, JSON, HTML, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Microservices

- Frameworks : EJB, Camel, Spring, Hibernate

- Experience with Oracle, DB2, or other relational databases.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Maven).

- Familiarity with application servers like JBoss, IBM WebSphere, and WebLogic.

- Experience with mobile and web technologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Team player with a strong work ethic.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
