Data Scientist

• Engage with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Ask insightful questions to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the client s challenges and objectives.
• Document requirements clearly using workflows, Entity-Relationship (ER) diagrams, and relational diagrams.
• Conducts statistical analyses to develop strategies.
• Builds predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
• Identifies data patterns and trends.
• Proposes solutions and strategies to business challenges.
• Presents information using data visualization techniques .
• Documents all processes and research.
• Solve complex, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed.
• Build and manage a high-performance, responsive team of data scientists and analysts that can keep up with and pioneer in this space.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed for product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, statistics, applied math or related field required. Master s degree preferred.
• Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis.
• At least two years experience with SQL and statistical software packages (Python, R, SAS) required
• Working with Jupyter Notebooks and understanding old experiments
• Experience with Azure ML Studio and REST API.
• Excellent understanding of database systems and ability to create workflows, ER diagrams, and relational diagrams.
• Experience using business intelligence tools and data frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
