Senior Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Service Engineer with experience in IT Hardware to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of IT hardware systems, and providing top-notch technical support to customers in the Chennai region, specifically Kundrathur and Porur. You will work closely with the engineering team and customers to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware systems including servers, desktops, laptops, and networking equipment.

Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose hardware faults and perform necessary repairs or replacements of components such as motherboards, hard drives, power supplies, etc.

Customer Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, addressing their hardware-related issues and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

System Upgrades & Optimization: Assist in upgrading hardware components and systems to meet evolving customer needs. Optimize hardware performance for better efficiency and reliability.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of hardware repairs, service reports, and customer interactions for future reference and follow-up.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical support, and engineering, to deliver excellent customer service.

Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in IT hardware and technology to provide relevant advice and solutions to customers.

Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and technical training to junior engineers and support staff.
