Access Control Systems Tech Engineer

We are seeking a skilled CCURE 9000 and Genetec Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the CCURE 9000 security management system. The role requires a deep understanding of the CCURE 9000 software, as well as the ability to implement customized solutions for access control, video surveillance, and integrated security systems. The candidate will work closely with clients to provide technical support and system optimizations to ensure maximum performance and reliability.

The candidate will also be responsible for the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of Genetec security solutions, including video surveillance and other related systems. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are operating efficiently and meeting the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Implementation: Install and configure CCURE 9000 software, ensuring seamless integration with access control and video surveillance systems.
• Technical Support: Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of issues related to CCURE 9000 systems.
• System Implementation & Integration: Design, configure, and deploy Genetec security systems (Security Center & Mission Control ).
• Integrate Genetec Mission control with existing CCURE system.
• Customize and configure security solutions to meet requirements.
• Training & Documentation: Provide training and technical support to team on the Genetec systems.
• System Optimization: Monitor system performance, conduct regular maintenance checks, and optimize configurations to meet customer requirements.
• Team Interaction: Communicate effectively with team to understand their security needs, provide solutions, and ensure stake holders satisfaction.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, changes, and support issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers to ensure successful project delivery and implementation.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience with CCURE 9000
• Experience with integrating CCURE 9000 with other systems like VMS (Video Management Systems), biometric authentication, or intrusion detection systems.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with security industry standards and regulations
• Proven experience working with Genetec solutions, especially Genetec Security Center and Genetec Mission Control.
• Experience in video surveillance, access control, and other physical security technologies.
• Familiarity with networking, IP cameras, and associated hardware.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and integration with third-party systems.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving system issues.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Certifications:

• Certifications: CCURE 9000 LEVEL 1 certification required.
• Must be certified with Genetec SC-OTC-02.
