Housekeeping Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Executive to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of housekeeping operations, including staff management, inventory control, and quality assurance. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Management:
• Recruit, hire, and train housekeeping staff.
• Assign tasks and schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching.
• Address staff concerns and resolve issues promptly.
• Cleaning Operations:
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and checklists.
• Ensure adherence to established cleaning standards and procedures.
• Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
• Monitor the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
• Oversee the cleaning of carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces.
• Inventory Management:
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Monitor usage and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Place orders for supplies as needed.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Implement quality control measures to identify and address issues.
• Train staff on quality assurance standards and procedures.
• SOP Development:
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all housekeeping tasks.
• Ensure that SOPs are followed consistently by all staff.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of housekeeping equipment.
• Schedule regular maintenance checks and repairs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping operations in a hotel or mall
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping practices, procedures, and chemicals
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
