We seek an experienced HR business partner to join our team and support our business at ixigo. You will be critical in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, who is passionate about supporting and developing our most valuable asset - our people.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Support:
Partner strategically with the recruitment team to understand and fulfill talent needs based on business forecasts and departmental goals. This includes participating in workforce planning discussions and developing effective recruitment strategies.
Ensure timely closure of hiring mandates within the expected turnaround time (TAT) by actively monitoring the recruitment process, providing regular updates, and addressing any bottlenecks.
Facilitate a seamless and engaging onboarding process for new joiners. This involves coordinating orientation sessions, completing all necessary documentation, and introducing new employees to company culture, values, and key stakeholders, creating a positive initial experience at ixigo.
Employee Engagement:
Lead the employee engagement agenda by developing and executing a comprehensive annual engagement calendar. This includes planning and organizing various initiatives, events, and programs to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Regular engagement surveys should be administered to gather employee feedback. Analyze survey results meticulously to identify key trends, areas for improvement, and employee concerns.
Develop and execute targeted action plans based on survey insights. This involves collaborating with managers and team leaders to implement changes, address concerns, and enhance employee satisfaction and morale.
Performance Management:
Oversee the end-to-end performance appraisal cycle, ensuring adherence to established timelines and processes. This includes guiding managers on performance reviews, goal setting, and feedback delivery.
Monitor performance ratings, provide calibration sessions, and ensure alignment with company compensation policies to ensure accurate and fair reward decisions.
HR Policy and Process Optimization:
Recommend and advise on innovative HR policies, programs, and procedures to enhance HR efficiencies and effectively address evolving business needs.
Employee Feedback and Analytics:
Design and administer employee surveys and questionnaires to gather feedback on various topics. Lead the analysis of survey outcomes and the development of action plans.
Provide management information system (MIS) support for attrition analysis, including tracking exit interview trends, identifying critical insights, and publishing dashboards to inform strategies.
Employee Relations:
Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances, partnering with business leaders to conduct timely investigations and resolve concerns fairly and impartially.
Learning & Development Support:
Collaborate with the Learning and Development (L&D) team to conduct training needs assessments for employees at all levels to drive effective development initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR operations, specializing in payroll, compliance, and leave management.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced data analysis and reporting skills.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms, preferably PeopleStrong or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, statutory compliance, and payroll processes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
