Alumni Relations Officer (2-4 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities: 1 year contractual

1. Execute robust alumni engagement initiatives including mentorship, alumni recognition and awards, entrepreneurship support to alumni, and batch ambassadors, alumni fundraising, etc.

2. Develop and execute platforms for alumni to engage with each other and the college including events, meet-ups, webinars and workshops

3. Leverage alumni networks to support the University with internships, placements, and industry connects

4. Author status update reports and decks on alumni initiatives for leadership reporting

5. Draft and publish social media content, prepare alumni newsletters, manage SRCC Alumni Relation Cell's social media.

6. Maintain a detailed alumni database and run campaigns to periodically update it

Qualifications:

1. 2-4 years of full-time work experience in areas such as alumni relations, placements, industry relations, and fundraising and corporate development for a Higher Education Institute or related work.

2. A bachelor's degree in any discipline with a preference for an MBA

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. High quality English language skills (verbal and written) with ability to draft well- written and structured deliverables and reports

2. Adept at using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Google Forms

1. Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively engage with stakeholders and building relationships

2. Highly organized, attentive to deadlines, and able to manage multiple work- streams with efficiency

3. Problem-solving mentality and structured thinking with an ability to solve complex/unstructured problems though first principles thinking

4. Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter with high level of ownership

Additional preferred qualifications:

1. Knowledge of email marketing, social media management, or graphic design tools

2. Ability to manage and analyze large datasets to identify gaps in existing data and derive meaningful insights

3. Experience of working as a part of an alumni relations committee or team during bachelors/masters
