Workshop Manager/ Maintenance Head

Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for Maintenance, Stores, Tyre Dept. and Fabrication Works, Manpower and Administration,

2. Lead Quality Control Team and ensure ZERO Breakdowns / Plant Rejections,

3. Complete controls with Maximum Up-time of Vehicles, Carry out RCAs for Continual Improvements,

4. Strict controls on Scheduled and Preventive Maintenance of Entire Fleet,

5. To ensure for enhance Tyre life Tyre Rotation, Alignment, CPK improvement

6. AMC Vehicles Ensure quality workmanship, Minimum down-time, adherence to PM schedules, Non-AMC quality repairs,

7. Maintenance, Fabrication and Store Vendors Quality and Cost Management / Optimization,

8. Controls on Scrap Best rate sale, SOP adherence,

9. Co-ordination with Ops Teams to meet Customer Satisfaction,

10. Monthly / Daily MIS and Reviews, Handle HO Projects, New Vehicle Quality checks, Campaigns, etc.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience as a Workshop Manager or in a similar role, ideally in Logistics Company.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Knowledge of workshop equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Solid understanding of safety and regulatory standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
