Finance Executive - (Puddukottai - Trichy)

Position - Finance Executive ITC Limited - Manufacturing Unit, Trichy (Viralimalai).

Qualifications – B.Com / M.Com / MBA – Finance / CMA with minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing unit.

Roles

1. MIS

• Preparation of Monthly Conversion cost, comparison with plan / last year, collating reasons for variance, tracking of cost saving initiatives.
• Material variance analysis and identifying reasons for variances in coordination with the operations team.
• Presentation of monthly performance to the unit management.
• Preparation of Annual Budget workings.
• Preparation of routine & ad-hoc reports for Category / HO team (Power & Fuel Schedule, RBI Data, etc.).

2. Controllership

• Surprise PV of inventories.
• Weekly YPs (book stock adjustment basis physical stock count).
• Routine financial controls – GRN reconciliation with gate entries, reviews of inventory aging, non-moving & slow-moving inventories, delayed / pending GRNs, overdue stock-in-transit & RGPs, inventory valuation (eg. FG MAP & accounting of first production booking), etc.
• Review of RMPM stores process & documentation.
• Review of compliance to SOP & policies in the areas of inventory
• Transit insurance compliance.

3. Procurement

• Negotiations for spares, consumables & services.
• Invoice verification.

4. Fixed Assets

• Review of capital goods WIP and idle assets, asset tagging, put-to-use certificates, etc.

5. GST Related

• Preparation, tracking & reporting (ITC-GST-04) of manual DC.
• Review & resolution of overdue RGP.
• Resolution of PR vs. 2B mismatches.
• MIS / confirmations related to GST (reversal of GST ITC on samples / write offs, manual DCs, nature of expense, etc.).

6. Others / miscellaneous

• Coordination for inventories, spares & fixed assets PV by external auditor.
• Training to new users.
