Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design to deployment phases of IoT solutions using ThingWorx Platform.
2. Architect IoT application considering system integration, security and scalability.
3. Review/Guide Code/ThingWorx development team to ensure best practices in terms of code quality, standards, and architecture.
4. Work closely with other teams to ensure smoother project execution.
5. Develop custom extensions for ThingWorx to meet non-OOB features of ThingWorx.
6. Integrate with REST or any other web services using specific protocols.
7. Develop Mashups for Dashboards and other UIs.
8. Solve problems, increase efficiency and improve existing IoT systems to improve performance and reliability.
9. Manage the day-to-day activities of the team Perform a code review and guarantee compliance with quality standards
10. Provide technical leadership and guidance to improve processes and set team standards.
11. Create and maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. More than 10 years of experience in IoT development with a strong background in the ThingWorx platform.
2. Experience as a team leader, providing mentoring to the technical team.
3. Expertise in designing and developing IoT solutions using ThingWorx Foundation.
4. Hands-on experience with SQL databases (e.g. MSSQL, Postgres).
5. Good understanding of integration protocols (REST, MQTT, HTTP, WebSockets) for IoT connectivity.
6. Experience in custom ThingWorx extensions development.
7. Familiar with programming languages such as JavaScript and Java.
8. Experience with CSS and HTML.
9. Experience in CI/CD tech like Azure CI/CD or Gitlab CI/CD.
10. Knowledge on Kepware integration and configurations.
11. Exposure to data analytics will be an added advantage.
12. Knowledge of ThingWorx Flow, or ThingWorx Analytics is preferred.
13. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable IoT solutions.
14. Experience working in an Agile development environment.
15. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across stakeholders.
