Senior Java Developer (5-7 Years)

Location : Navi Mumbai, CBD Belapur

Domain : Banking (Payment Gateway Project)

NOTE : 1st and 3rd Saturdays working as per banking norms

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement high-quality Java-based solutions for our payment gateway platform.

- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

- Utilize your strong understanding of core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

- Leverage your expertise in the Spring Framework (Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security) to build robust and scalable applications.

- Design and develop RESTful APIs for integration with various internal and external systems.

- Apply your understanding of payment gateway concepts, protocols, and security standards (e.g, PCI DSS) to develop secure and reliable payment processing solutions.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and other forms of testing to ensure software quality.

- Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues.

- Troubleshoot complex technical problems.

- Work closely with other developers, testers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Java development and the payment gateway domain.

Required Skills and Experience :

- B. or Graduation in Computer Science or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Java development.

- Strong proficiency in Core Java, including OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms.

- Expertise in the Spring Framework (Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security).

- Experience in developing RESTful APIs.

- Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with relational databases (e.g, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL - specify which one(s)).

- Experience in the banking/fintech domain, specifically with payment gateway systems, is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of software design patterns.

- Experience with version control systems (eg, Git).

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
