Automation Quality Assurance Engineer - Cypress (5-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test scripts using Cypress framework.

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both front-end and back-end systems.

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure testability.

- Identify and report bugs, track defects, and verify fixes.

- Analyze test results, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for enhancing test coverage.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, particularly within the Cypress ecosystem.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of test frameworks and best practices.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Contribute to improving the overall QA process.

- Experience working within the banking domain and understanding of its specific challenges and regulations.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in software QA and testing.

- Strong experience with Cypress testing framework for UI automation.

- Proficiency in JavaScript and related front-end technologies (HTML, CSS).

- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or similar.

- Solid understanding of testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience working in the banking domain
