Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Power Apps Developer with a strong focus on custom connector development to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in building custom connectors to integrate Power Apps with various third-party systems and APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and business process automation. You will be responsible for both front-end app development and backend system integration, focusing particularly on creating scalable, reusable, and secure custom connectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom connectors to integrate Power Apps with external systems, APIs, and services (including on-premises and cloud-based applications).

• Build model-driven and canvas apps using Power Apps, ensuring robust integration with back-end systems through custom connectors.

• Develop end-to-end solutions by integrating Power Automate with custom connectors to automate workflows and business processes.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure the custom connectors meet the integration needs of external systems (such as ERP, CRM, and third-party APIs).

• Work with API specifications (REST, SOAP, OData, etc.) to design and implement connectors that interact with diverse data sources and services.

• Ensure that custom connectors are secure, scalable, and efficient by following best practices for authentication, data handling, and error management.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the custom connectors and integrations to ensure smooth functionality across the Power Platform environment.

• Monitor the performance and stability of custom connectors and make improvements as needed.

• Stay up to date with the latest updates to the Power Platform and related technologies to implement the most effective and innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing Power Apps solutions.

• Proven expertise in creating custom connectors in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Platform integration scenarios.

• Strong understanding of API protocols such as REST, SOAP, OData, and familiarity with OAuth, Basic Authentication, and other authentication mechanisms.

• Experience in integrating Power Apps with external systems such as Dynamics 365, SharePoint, SQL Server, and third-party APIs using custom connectors.

• Expertise in model-driven and canvas apps development, with a deep understanding of integrating apps with custom connectors to ensure seamless data flow.

• Experience working with Power Automate to automate workflows between Power Apps and custom connectors.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize and troubleshoot connector performance.

• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management, and other related integration tools is a plus.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
