Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of the billing process, including patient registration accuracy, charge entry, claims submission, and payment posting, to ensure clean claims and timely payments.

- Implement pre-billing audits and claim scrubbing procedures to reduce errors and prevent avoidable denials, ensuring high acceptance rates for claims.

- Monitor and address denied or rejected claims by analyzing root causes, developing corrective action plans, and coordinating appeals to maximize reimbursements.

- Oversee accurate payment posting for patient and insurance payments, including managing adjustments and reconciliations to maintain up-to-date billing records.

- Supervise patient billing processes, including statement generation, follow-up calls, and payment plans, to ensure clear communication and effective collections.

- Track aging accounts, set collection targets, and implement AR recovery strategies to reduce outstanding balances and minimize days in AR.
