🎯 Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on, self-driven Project Manager to lead product development projects for our upcoming range of kitchen chimneys, hobs, and cook tops. This is a foundational role where you'll be responsible for setting up the project management systems and culture within a fast-paced, startup environment.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

• Establish the Project Management Function
• Design and implement lightweight, effective project management processes
• Define documentation, tracking tools (Jira, Trello, Gantt, etc.), reporting cadence, and risk management practices
• Foster a delivery-focused, accountable culture
• End-to-End Project Ownership
• Manage NPD (New Product Development) projects from concept to launch delivering on Quality, Cost & Time targets
• Coordinate with Category team, Engineering/Product Management, DQ, Sourcing & Procurement, Product Supply (Manufacturing, Warehousing & Logistics)
• Track key milestones like design freeze, pilot build, validation, and SOP
• Cross-Functional Influence
• Lead without formal authority align people, solve conflicts, and maintain delivery focus
• Facilitate decision-making in a flat structure through transparency, data, and trust
• Communication & Reporting
• Own internal project updates, project management dashboards, and risk logs
• Represent Product Development timelines in management and cross-department meetings
• Lead internal project review meetings with cross functional
• Drive client-facing project review meetings to drive alignment, maintain transparency, and ensure smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Problem Solving & Risk Management
• Identify roadblocks early and drive structured root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Escalate strategically while maintaining team ownership

✅ Key Requirements:

• Proven track record of managing cross-functional hardware or appliance development or automotive projects.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously (10+ active SKUs or development tracks) with effective prioritization and resource alignment
• Experience in launching consumer electronics or durable goods is a strong plus
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycle – from prototyping to mass production
• Familiar with quality checkpoints (DFMEA, pilot builds, validation testing, etc.)
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
• Strong influencing skills – able to lead without a big title
• Entrepreneurial mindset – thrives in chaos, builds structure without slowing down
• Startup experience is a big plus
