Costing Executive

Role & responsibilities:

• Calculate and analyze product costing, fabrication costs, and overhead allocation.
• Monitor raw material, labor, and production expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, variance analysis, and profitability assessments.
• Work closely with production, procurement, and finance teams to improve cost efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for fabrication and ice cream filling operations.
• Conduct cost audits and ensure accuracy in cost records.
• Support pricing decisions by providing detailed cost estimates and insights.
• Utilize ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) for cost tracking and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, and industry standards.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Experience in fabrication, food processing machinery, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GST, taxation, and financial regulations.
• Certification in cost management or financial analysis is an advantage.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of costing methodologies for fabrication and food processing machinery.
• Understanding of fabrication processes, welding, machining, and assembly operations.
• Familiarity with stainless steel material costing, automation components, and refrigeration systems in ice cream filling equipment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, SAP, Excel, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong coordination with production, procurement, and finance teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical and financial analysis abilities.
