Electrical Technician

Role & responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with national and local electrical codes.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and components to identify issues and implement timely solutions.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools to identify root causes of electrical problems.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all electrical systems operate in a manner that meets production demands and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues efficiently to minimize production disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including work orders and inspections reports.
