Teacher Support Development: Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development for humanities teachers, ensuring high-quality instructional practices.
Assessment Evaluation: Oversee the development of assessments and ensure alignment with learning outcomes, while using data to enhance student performance and curriculum delivery.
Collaboration Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to ensure an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Interdisciplinary Initiatives: Promote collaboration across subjects, integrating humanities with areas like science, technology, and the arts.
Cultural Integration: Incorporate UAE heritage, history, and values into the curriculum while promoting global perspectives.
Leadership Strategic Planning: Lead the department s strategic initiatives, set performance goals, and ensure the continuous improvement of the humanities program.
Extracurricular Activities: Coordinate field trips, cultural events, and projects that enhance the student experience and engagement with humanities subjects.
Administrative Duties: Manage the department s budget, resources, scheduling, and compliance with school and regulatory policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor s degree in Humanities (History, Geography, Social Studies, or related field); Master s degree preferred.
